SCOPE AND OBJECTIVES
The purpose of this Business Continuity Plan is to have an executable plan for Suitable Lifestyle Solutions Ltd in case of an emergency.
This Business Continuity Plan will be triggered in the event of:
- An epidemic, pandemic or disease
- A fire
BUSINESS FUNCTION PRIORITIES IN EVENT OF AN EPIDEMIC, PANDEMIC OR DISEASE
An epidemic, pandemic or disease would impact business functions in the following ways:
Impact on function:
- Disruptions would negatively impact our customers and their ability to buy our goods and receive our services.
Recovery procedure: All warehouse, office and factory personnel are to follow Government guidelines as a priority. To ensure works continue office staff will work from home remotely, Storage and warehouse facilities are multi-based therefore business can continue in the event of 1 failing. All company staff will operate under strict Health & Safety company policies in the event of a pandemic, a full risk assessment and procedure is available and staff will be briefed on the new operating model as and when this has been stood up.
Resource requirements: SLSGROUPS will increase resources and have supply chain on standby to increase resources that are trained in operating in a similar environment and understand our business. We expect during any of the disruption resources would be increased by 20% to support delivery through contingent labor. Other resources include increased cleaning regime, resilience manager and communications. I.T team required to activate Network settings on new laptops if required to access cloud based files.
BUSINESS FUNCTION PRIORITIES IN EVENT OF A FIRE
A fire would impact business functions in the following ways:
Impact on function: Company fire risk assessments have been completed in line with Government guideline. In the event of a fire and loss of office resources all data can be accessed vi our our secure Network as everything is cloud based. Loss of consumable items which include customer goods will be recovered through insurances and produced through supply chain.
- Recovery procedure: Commence I.T recovery through Network and give access to staff to company Network through new laptops, no data will be lost.
- Resource requirements: I.T Recovery Team and Supply Chain (WeArelIT).
