Board of Directors

The Board represents and is accountable to the shareholders of the company. The Board’s responsibilities are to regularly evaluate the strategic direction of the company, management policies and the effectiveness with which management implements them. The Board’s responsibilities also include overseeing the structure and composition of the company’s top management and monitoring legal compliance and the management of risks related to the company’s operations.

Audit Committee

The Audit Committee meets at least twice a year to monitor the integrity of financial reporting and statements, the independence and performance of the Auditors, the effectiveness of the internal financial controls and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Remuneration Committee

The Remuneration Committee meets at least annually and is responsible for recommending to the Board the remuneration of Executive Directors and senior executives including the payment of bonuses and share options.

Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE)

SLSGROUPS has an overriding commitment to quality, health, safety and environmental responsibility. We are working closely to ensure internationally recognized standards are implemented and maintained across our operations.

The Board of Directors is responsible for setting objectives and targets, monitoring performance and providing the necessary resources to support its commitment. All employees have responsibility for QHSE awareness and the commitment to high standards.

Our positive culture based on a passionate QHSE leadership is demonstrated by the effective implementation of our QHSE principles in our workplace.

The Directors acknowledge their responsibility for the Company’s system of internal control and for reviewing its effectiveness. The system of internal control is designed to safeguard the Company’s assets and interests, to help ensure accurate reporting and to help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulation.
